About Dr. Ravi Jain

Consultant Urologist, Robotic & Renal Transplant Surgeon

Dr. Ravi Jain is a young, dynamic and enthusiastic Urologist, Robotic and Renal Transplantation Surgeon. He did his MBBS and Internship(2003-2009) followed by MS (Surgery) from the prestigious VS Hospital, NHL MEDICAL COLLEGE, Ahmedabad (2009-12). Later he pursued his dream career in Urology from the renowned RUBY HALL CLINIC, Grant Medical College, Pune (2012-15).

In his quest for learning Advanced Endourology, he worked at Shyam Urosurgical Hospital, Shalby and Sterling hospital for 1 year (2017-18). He got the vast experience of dealing with complex cases and performing various complex procedures during his tenure of Assistant Professor, Urology at the Internationally acclaimed institute IKDRC, CIVIL HOSPITAL, AHMEDABAD (2018-2021).

He has performed more than 1000 Kidney stone surgeries, more than 150 Laparoscopy surgeries, cancer surgeries and has been a part of more than 100 Kidney Transplantation surgeries. His special interests are in Advanced Minimally Invasive Urology Surgeries( Laser,Laparoscopy and Robotics) and Urodynamics. He is an expert in RIRS-Retrograde Intra Renal Surgery (Laser surgery) for Kidney stones. He has been a faculty at various national and International conferences for RIRS and has demonstrated live RIRS surgery at workshops. He is academically oriented and has several research publications to his credit. He aims to serve his patients with care, compassion and benefit them with the most advanced technology and knowledge. He is an author and a poet by passion and writes several philosophical articles under the title “Spreading Positivity“.
